Pastor:
Dan Finch

Dear future friends,
Karen and I came to
Livonia
in July 2007.
We were met by a warm,
funny, hard working group of people who seem to love
each other and love Jesus. They took us in and gave us a
place and a people to call our home. They seemed to
embody the slogan Methodists often use about having open
arms, open minds and open hearts.
We hope that your journey with God
will be enhanced through this community, too. Actually,
that is the real reason that this community exists. We
want to love you, your family and friends into a
responsive and maturing relationship with Jesus, connect
you into grace-filled small groups then launch you and
your friends into God's kingdom revolution. You will
grow here, for sure, but you will also get the chance to
"go"...to go into some remarkable opportunities to serve
and make a difference.
What is the UMC of Livonia like? Who are we? Well, you will discover in time that UMC
of Livonia is both
innovative and traditional, seeking new ways to express
the timeless truths of God. We're also big on family and
persistent in emphasizing authentic relationships. In a
way, we are like a bridge between what has been and what
is emerging in God's kingdom. We’re thrilled you'd
consider joining in the journey with this unique band of
believers. We trust that your life will never be the
same!
